Share Images Online with Anyone
ImgBoxy makes sharing images online effortless. Upload your photo or graphic, get a shareable link, and send it to anyone — in any app, on any device.
Share an image nowThe simplest way to share images online
Sharing an image online used to mean emailing a large attachment, finding a file transfer service, or uploading to a social network that crops and compresses your original. ImgBoxy offers a cleaner alternative: upload your image once, get a direct link, and share that link anywhere — in any messaging app, forum, website or email.
The recipient doesn't need an account on ImgBoxy or any other service. They just click the link and see the image in their browser. No ads, no required downloads, no sign-up prompts. Just the image you wanted to share.
Sharing via messaging apps
Whether you use WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, iMessage, Discord or any other messaging platform, a link from ImgBoxy works universally. Most modern messaging apps will automatically generate a preview of the image when you paste the link — the image appears inline in the conversation so the recipient can see it without clicking.
Compared to sending the image file directly, sharing via link has several advantages. The link is much smaller than the file itself, so it sends instantly. The image quality is preserved, because the link points to the original upload rather than a compressed version. And the same link can be shared with many different people at the same time.
Sharing on social media
ImgBoxy image pages include Open Graph meta tags, which means that when you share a link to an image on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or other social platforms, the image appears as a rich preview in the feed. The post looks professional and catches attention instead of displaying a plain text URL.
For Instagram and TikTok, which don't allow external image embeds in posts, you can still use ImgBoxy to share images in direct messages or stories. Copy the link from ImgBoxy and paste it into the app's link field.
Sharing multiple images
When you need to share several images at once, create a free ImgBoxy account and upload them all to an album. Albums have their own shareable link, so you can send one URL that gives access to all images in the collection. This is perfect for photographers sharing a photo shoot with a client, or for teams sharing design assets with stakeholders.
Without an account, you can still share multiple images by uploading them individually and sending all the links in a list. However, an album keeps everything organised and gives the recipient a better browsing experience.
Privacy when sharing images
By default, images uploaded to ImgBoxy are publicly accessible to anyone with the link. The links are not indexed in a public directory, so they won't appear in a general gallery that random visitors can browse — only people who have the specific link can find the image.
If you need stricter privacy controls, register a free account. Registered users have more control over their images and can delete them at any time. Deleting an image removes it immediately from our servers and the link stops working.
